Dr Lawrence Lee, a highly regarded retinal specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon, has over 25 years of experience performing cataract surgery and vitrectomy surgery for the treatment of retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, dislocated intraocular lens, uveitis, intraocular tumours and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Dr Lee is well-supported by a team of optometrists, ophthalmic nurses, and administration staff to provide the highest level of ophthalmic care.
The personalised treatment approach at City Eye Centre is complemented by our innovative ophthalmic equipment to provide with the most advanced diagnosis and treatment. In particular, City Eye Centre is part of the global Advanced Retinal Imaging (ARI) network and our diagnostic imaging provides ultra-high resolution cross-sectional images through the retina to assist in the diagnosis of a wide range of retinal diseases. The OCT is also used to monitor treatment efficacy of intravitreal injections for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion. Ultra-widefield fundus photography and fluorescein angiography allow 200º of the retina to be imaged in a single capture, and this enables the doctors to diagnose, document and monitor the peripheral retinal conditions.
