City Eye Centre is centrally located in Brisbane on Wickham Terrace. There are many public transport options which will help you get to our practice.

Central Train Station

We are a short walk away from the Central Train Station. Once you exit from the station, turn right up Upper Edward Street and cross the road to reach King Edward Park. You will see a set of red stairs (Jacobs’s Ladder) which will bring you to Wickham Terrace. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and continue up to 225 Wickham Terrace, Watkins Medical Centre. We are located directly opposite the Old Windmill Tower.

If you travel by car,  it is best to plan ahead where you can park as street parking in the city is limited. There are several carparks within walking distance to our centre.

City Eye Centre is approximately 10-minute walk from the Queen Street Bus Station. Free Brisbane City Council Spring Hill Loop Buses operate between the Brisbane CBD and Spring Hill precincts. Bus stop (Stop 134 Windmill Stop) is directly outside City Eye Centre, Watkins Medical Centre.

For information on the bus service please click here for the Council website.

If you come by a taxi or uber, you can be dropped off directly outside our building in the commercial and passenger drop off zone. Taxi ranks are available on Wickham Terrace adjacent to Brisbane Private Hospital.
