Information for Referring Doctors or Optometrists
City Eye Centre recognises the importance of multi-disciplinary care and collaborative management. We prefer to accept referrals from secure messaging platforms via Medical Objects and Oculo. Alternatively you can email or fax us the referral.
If your referral is urgent, please call (07) 3831 6888 during our opening hours and advise our staff. We will endeavour to fit your patient in as soon as possible.
If you need to refer a patient afterhours to Dr Lawrence Lee, please contact the Eye Registrar at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital on (07) 3646 8111 or contact the St Andrew’s Emergency Centre on (07) 3834 4455. The Eye Registrar or the St Andrew’s emergency staff will make initial assessments and contact Dr Lee as required.
